Shropshire Council has announced a planned road closure of another road in Marchamley from Tuesday 1st September for fourteen days. The work is to allow for the installation of a new water main.
As with the previous road closure (see here) local residents may not recognise the description used in this PDF file to identify the location (see item 256). The closure is described as being “White House junction A442 to Hill Cottage junction, Marchamley” with the diversion being “East on C2073 , right onto A442 junction Hodnet to B5065 junction Dairy House, right onto White House Jct A442 to Hill Cottage Jct and vice versa.”
As previously the diversion map in this PDF file is more informative and an enhanced version is reproduced below.
