COVID-19 cases increase 34% locally during week 28 May-3 June 2021
During the seven-day period between 28 May and 3 June 2021:
- 31 new cases reported
- An increase of 34.7% on the previous week
- The seven-day infection rate for Shropshire was 9.6 per 100,000
- It was 31.7 for the West Midlands and 43.8 for England
- 1 hospital bed was occupied by a COVID-19 patient
- There were zero COVID-19-related deaths in a local hospital
