A new venture at this years Hodnet & District Garden Club Annual Horticultural Show will be a scarecrow competition.
Children from the area are invited to build their own scarecrow and bring it along to the Lyon Hall on Saturday 21st August. Once the entries have been judged they will be put on parade outside Mulberry Bush Studios, the florists on Church Street.

1st July 2010 – Hodnet’s website is now open for visitors!

Established as one of the outcomes of the 2009 Hodnet Parish Plan, this website is designed and maintained by a group of volunteers. Our hope is that it will become a valuable resource to local people and visitors alike.
We look forward to local groups and organisations contributing their details for the relevant directory pages, and we are especially keen to receive a regular flow of information for the upcoming events and news sections. Please see this page for more details.
