The Citadel Open Garden and Coffee Morning

The Citadel near Weston under Redcastle is opening its 3 acres of gardens on Saturday 14th May between 10.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. Take a relaxing wander through the extensive mature gardens, marvel at the incredibly pristinely maintained vegetable garden, enjoy the breath taking views across the rolling fields of the Hawkestone countryside. Then take a break, sit back and have a coffee and a cake. 
Every one is welcome,  £3.00 Entrance fee, payable on arrival. All profits in aid of Hodnet 2000 charitable trust.

Plant Hunters Fair at Hodnet Hall

Plant hunters fair at Hodnet Hall Gardens, Sunday 5th June.
Gate opens 10 a.m. last entrance 5 p.m.
Entrance at the special event rate of £2.50 for adults , children free.
Tea rooms open.
Full access to the renowned landscape gardens.
Childrens adventure trail competition.
Free guided tours.

16 nurseries each with thier own specialism have confirmed thier intention to attend, the weather is set fair. Nurseries and growers attending include; Wollerton Old Hall Gardens, Bouts Nursery, Hall Farm Nursery, Coquest Plant Nursery, Mayfields Plants.

Winter Wander At Wollerton Old Hall

One of Shropshires most manacured gardens is preparing to throw open its doors to let visitors in for a ‘winter wander’. Snowdrops, hellebores, hamamellis and other plants provide colour at this time. Ask the head gardener how to add colour to your own winter garden.
Chase away those winter blues, wrap up warm and visit the garden when it is not normally open.  The Head Gardener will be on hand for tours around the garden and the Tea Room will be open.

Admission £5.50 per person
