Carers Week 2021 7-13 June ‘Making Carers Visible and Valued’

This Carers week is our opportunity to say thank you to unpaid and family carers in Shropshire; we recognise and appreciate the very valuable support they provide to others.

In recognition of carers, Shropshire Carers Support service has created a programme of activities, some physical and some virtual, that we hope will be therapeutic for carers, bring joy and companionship….a small thank you to carers for all the support they provide. Whether carers want to immerse themselves in a forest or join activities from home we hope they will find something for them and look forward to their joining us during the week.

Competition Time

Win one year’s membership to the Dorothy Clive Gardens. Two lucky winners will each receive one-yearmembership (2 people entitled to enter with each membership) to visit Dorothy Clive Gardens. To enter the competition and win this fabulous prize please write two sentences on “Why I identified as a carer” and submit to Shropshire.carers@shropshire.gov.uk Closing date for submissions will be Sunday 13 June 2021.The winners will be notified by email on Tuesday15 June 2021.
