Wollerton raids featured on BBC1's Crimewatch

BBC1’s popular Crimewatch programme on May 1st featured a reconstruction of the raids carried out on 5th April, 2012 on two homes in Wollerton.
A seven minute film of a reconstruction of the raids and interviews with some of the victims was shown along with e-fit images of the three men involved. These can be seen on the  programme’s web site here along with a description of the incident.
Police have appealed for information in four specific areas. Crimewatch describe them as follows:

Police are appealing to the criminal community to come forward and name the men responsible for this attack. They hope the extreme and unnecessary violence used against vulnerable individuals will prompt anyone with information to come forward.
E-fits of two of the offenders have been released. Detectives are hoping someone will be able to identify the men.
A silver saloon car – possibly an ’03 or ’04 reg Volvo S40 – was seen in the village both the night before the attack and from around 6am on 5 April. Police believe this may have been used as the men’s getaway car after they abandoned the Discovery. It was seen heading in the direction of the A53 towards Tern Hill being driven erratically. Police are keen to hear from anyone else who saw this vehicle, or the men changing vehicles. They need to know where this car went after the attack, and what has happened to it since.
Two laptops were taken from the Burton’s house, one of which was an Acer Aspire widescreen with a blue shiny cover. Police are keen to hear from anyone who believes they have been offered one of these laptops for sale in recent weeks.

The programme also stated that a Crimestoppers reward of up to £1,000 is on offer for information leading to a conviction.
