A rise to 57 new cases of COVID-19 in Shropshire in week 30 April-6 May 2021
During the seven-day period between 30 April – 6 May 2021:
- 57 new cases reported
- That is a 14% increase on the previous week
- The seven-day infection rate for Shropshire was 17.6 per 100,000
- It was 18.2 for the West Midlands and 21.4 for England
- 2 hospital beds were occupied by COVID-19 patients
- There were zero COVID-related deaths in our local hospitals
