Roadworks.org has announced up to three days of delays in Hodnet. Their email alert reads:

Roadworks.org has announced multiple roadworks tomorrow (Tuesday 10 April) in the area of Wollerton Crossroads. The four notices refer to:
Delays are likely because traffic control is being managed by multi-way signals.
The reason for the disruption is described as “For route proving existing BT ducts , cable works on BT network and access to BT jointing chambers – no excavation, rolling works.” The work is being carried out by Openreach.
What is not clear is how long the works will take. The information on the Roadworks website only cover the one day, but their email gives the dates for all four notices as covering 10 April to 11 April.
BT Openreach is about to start a week of works on Drayton Road which will see traffic lights operational in different locations between Hodnet and the Drayton side of Wollerton.
These are listed here, but the date range needs to extended to ‘Next 3 Months’ to display all the locations.

Roadworks.org has published two advance notices of work on the A53, Hodnet by-pass, covering three days from Monday 12th to Wednesday 14th February 2018. Both are to allow for tree cutting and traffic will be controlled by ‘Stop/Go Boards’.
It appears that on the first day (Mon.) the work will take place to the Shrewsbury side of Espley Roundabout (A53/A442 junction), whilst on the following two days it will be carried out between Espley and Tern Hill roundabouts.
